La colpa della recessione e' di chi stampa denaro non guadagnato

Oggi vi propongo le parole pronunciate il Novembre 1976 dal cancelliere tedesco del'epoca, Helmut Schmidt (1918-2015) al congresso socialista che si teneva in quel periodo in Svizzera, a Ginevra.
Attenti bene che queste parole potrebbe averle dette oggi.

La recessione mondiale è stata causata da 130 nazioni su 140 che hanno stampato denaro che non avevano guadagnato.

Schmidt, durante un dibattito su un nuovo ordine economico mondiale, ha denunciato la stampa di denaro come soluzione ai problemi finanziari del socialismo. Ma anche delle nazioni Comuniste, Capitaliste, Democratiche e delle dittature.

Agitando entrambi i pugni in una fase Schmidt ha detto:

"Tutto ciò che chiedo è che, oltre alle discussioni ideologiche, cerchiamo di vedere fino in fondo questa recessione mondiale. 
Vi prego davvero di rendervi conto che possiamo raggiungere la stabilità solo se combattiamo l'inflazione e riduciamo la spesa pubblica "

Recession fault of those printing unearned money, Schmidt says

GENEVA, Switzerland (UPI) 27 Novembre 1976 — West German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt told world Socialist leaders Friday the world recession was due to "130 out of 140 nations printing money they have not earned".

Schmidt was the second German Socialist leader to startle delegates to the 13th Socialist In- ternational Congress on the opening day of the threeday meeting.

Earlier ex-Chancellor Willy Brandt said the West European brand of communism was just as dangerous as the communism of Moscow and Peking.

Schmidt, during a debate on a New World Economic Order denounced printing money as a solution to financial problems in Socialist. Comunist, capitalist, democratic and dictator nations alike.

"We are trying to take an easy and cheap way out he said, asserting that world money talks only resulted in the blame being shifted to other people or other places."

Shaking both fists at one stage Schmidt said: "

All I am asking is that, besides ideological discussions, we try to see through to the bottom of this world recession. I really beg you to realize we can only achieve stability if we fight inflation and cut public expenditure"

Brandt, who was elected president of the Socialist International, attacked what has been described as the soft and democratic communism first devised by Italian Communist leader Enrico Ber- linguer.
